About

The Five Stack is a weekly newsletter from The Five Stack Team. Each week we pick five AI tools worth your time and tell you, honestly, why you might use them and whether they cost anything.

Our mission

Make it easy to keep up with AI tools without drowning in launches. Five picks, plain language, no hype.

How we pick

• Tools have to be useful today, not just announced.
• We say what's free, what has a free tier, and what's paid.
• We favor tools you can try quickly, including open-source and local options.
